Unique and beautiful
Those are the words I use to describe the table that KAUAI Koa Farms made for us. My wife and I had a beautiful wooden turtle sculpture that we wanted a coffee table built around. The Farm far exceeded our expectations.
Knowing the origins of this table made it all the more special. The wood for the table was grown from one of the koa tree seeds that Sandy Brodie hand planted. He nurtured and cared for the tree until maturity. Then he harvested the tree, milled and dried the wood in a kiln until it reached the perfect humidity for building furniture. After that his master furniture maker artist Michael Rollins performed his magic. Michael consulted with us frequently during the design and building process which resulted in a one-of-a-kind table that met our specifications exactly.
The result? A perfect fit for our turtle sculpture, framing it with wood that is stunningly beautiful in depth of color and grain. You have to see it to appreciate it. We wouldn’t take a million dollars for the table.
